NEET-PG · what a government seat asks of you

The service bond — what it costs to leave a government PG seat.

A government PG seat usually carries a service bond: serve a set period in a government hospital after your degree, or pay a penalty to walk away. It is separate from the counselling deposit, and it is triggered after you join — so it is the real, long-lasting cost of the seat, not the fee on the brochure. Here it is, state by state, from each authority's own terms.

Some serve it, some pay their way out, some pass the seat. The call is yours — worth deciding before the day, not on it.
