A clarity instrument for one of the most consequential decisions a family makes.
NEET UG MBBS counselling is complex and unforgiving. Families have one shot. Formity exists to make that shot informed — with verified data, structured thinking, and a human analyst in the loop.
The problem we exist to solve
The counselling process — MCC AIQ, 28 state counsellings, deemed colleges, private quotas — runs across multiple authorities, with different rules, different timelines, and real financial consequences for wrong decisions. Most families encounter it once. The information ecosystem around it is full of estimates, outdated cutoffs, and unsolicited rank predictions.
Formity's scope is deliberate: NEET UG MBBS only. We do not cover BDS, AYUSH, or paramedical seats. We surface verified data and defer every decision to the family — because the decision belongs to them.
Who built this
Formity was founded by Vishwajeet Ranjan, who has been working in NEET counselling since 2016. The public record is on Quora — verifiable question by question:
The Quora answers are not polished marketing — they are the working record of how counselling questions were answered, one by one, in real time, under the pressure of real deadlines. Read them directly →
The method: Ask Formity
Ask Formity is three layers, not one:
- AI grounded in verified data. Ask Formity never generates seat data from scratch. Every college row, every quota, every closing rank cites the source — MCC allotment lists, NTA qualifying cutoffs, state authority data. If the data does not exist, it says so. No rank predictions.
- Human analyst via WhatsApp and Telegram. When a question needs human judgement — a category edge case, a state counselling quirk, a specific college situation — it goes to a human analyst, not a generic chatbot. Response within approximately 30 minutes during counselling season.
- Mock Counselling to rehearse the real process. The actual allotment day is unforgiving. Mock Counselling uses real MCC allotment data to simulate what your list would produce across R1, R2, and R3 — before the real day. Clarity instrument, not a guarantee.
What Formity is — and is not
Formity is an advisory. We surface verified data; we do not make the decision for your family. We do not predict your admission outcome. We do not guarantee seat allotments. We are not an admission agency, and we do not accept referral fees from colleges.
The data we use is checked against official MCC and state authority publications. Where data is absent or unverified, we say so explicitly rather than fill the gap with an estimate.
