CET Cell Maharashtra — Eligibility & Routes

MH PG 2025

State Quota (85% at private, 100% at govt): Open to Maharashtra domicile candidates. Reservation for OPEN, EWS, OBC, SEBC, NTB, NTC, NTD, VJA, SC, ST as per MH state policy.

Institutional Quota (IQ — 15% at private): Reserved for candidates who completed MBBS from the same parent university. Open to all India NEET PG eligible candidates — no domicile required. Rank ranges are typically weaker than state quota.

NRI Quota (15% at private): NRI/OCI/PIO with sponsor documents from Indian Embassy. Only blood relatives as sponsors (father, mother, brother, sister, uncle, aunt). Fee = 5× FRA approved rate (in INR, not USD).

Government college: 50% seats via MCC counselling (AIQ). Remaining 50% via CET Cell Maharashtra state counselling (domicile categories). No IQ or NRI at govt colleges.
