Applies to ALL non-in-service candidates in ALL quotas: G, P-GMP, P-OPN, Q (Management), N (NRI). Including non-domicile OPN allottees. Consequence: temporary NMC registration only until service completed. No cash penalty for Bond 1. Source: Karnataka Compulsory Service Training Act 2012 (amended 22/09/2017). Bond 2 (Annexure 2): 3 years compulsory service in KA State Govt hospital. Applies to GOVT-SEAT allottees only (State quota + AIQ govt). Penalty: ₹50,00,000 (₹50L) for MD/MS degree. ₹25,00,000 for PG Diploma. Documents withheld until bond obligation fulfilled or penalty paid. KEA Counselling — Eligibility & Rules

KEA Karnataka

Domicile (G + P-GMP): MBBS from Karnataka institution OR completed 10 academic years in KA. Karnataka caste reservation applies (1G, 2AG, 3BG, STG, SCG, etc.).

Open (P-OPN, Q, N): Open to any NEET PG eligible candidate from any state. No domicile required.

NRI eligibility: NRI/OCI status with sponsor documents from Indian Embassy. Blood relative as sponsor accepted.

Bond & Service Obligation

1 year mandatory

All KA PG candidates — Govt, Private, NRI, Mgmt — must complete 1 year compulsory rural/urban service in a Karnataka Government hospital after course completion (Karnataka Compulsory Service Training Act 2012).

Specifically:
· 1 year service in govt hospital — mandatory for ALL seats (G, P, Q, N, AIQ included)
· +3 more years service possible for Govt seats (G + AIQ) if Karnataka Govt requires
· Until service is complete, only temporary medical registration is granted
· No fee-based bond — service obligation is enforced via registration
