Bond 1 (Annexure 1, "Compulsory Service" — body text says URBAN): 1 year compulsory service in KA Government urban hospital after PG completion. Applies to ALL non-in-service candidates in ALL quotas: G, P-GMP, P-OPN, Q (Management), N (NRI). Including non-domicile OPN allottees. Consequence: temporary NMC registration only until service completed. No cash penalty for Bond 1. Source: Karnataka Compulsory Service Training Act 2012 (amended 22/09/2017). Bond 2 (Annexure 2): 3 years compulsory service in KA State Govt hospital. Applies to GOVT-SEAT allottees only (State quota + AIQ govt). Penalty: ₹50,00,000 (₹50L) for MD/MS degree. ₹25,00,000 for PG Diploma. Documents withheld until bond obligation fulfilled or penalty paid.
