NEIGRIHMS Shillong (North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences) is a central institute. Uses NEET PG for admissions (not INI-CET). 100% AIQ via MCC.
Eligibility: Any NEET PG qualified. No domicile restriction. Central reservation applies. 25% NE category reservation.
DNB
DNB / NBE Diploma
25 seats at mission hospitals and small centres. Counselled by NBE.

NEIGRIHMS = Northeast's AIIMS Equivalent
NEIGRIHMS Shillong is a central government institute of national importance. Unlike JIPMER/AIIMS, NEIGRIHMS uses NEET PG for admissions (not INI-CET). It functions as the apex referral centre for all 8 Northeastern states. PG seats are under MCC counselling, open to all India. It has a 25% NE (Northeast) category reservation giving preference to candidates from NE states. Clinical exposure includes cases from the entire region.
